Indexing quotes are calculated by indexable page and range from $7.00 to $8.50 CAD per page for traditional indexing. Rates vary depending on the complexity of the subject matter, density of the text, prevalence of diacritics and special characters, and deadline requirements.

The rate for map production is $60/hour CAD.
It should be noted that it takes a minimum of eight hours to produce a basic black and white, publishable map. A flat rate can be negotiated ahead of time.
Copy editing and proofreading services are available for scholarly works of light- to medium-level of difficulty. Rates are calculated on an hourly basis and range from $30 to $50 CAD per hour. Rates vary according to the type of service and difficulty of text. See below for the average number of pages per hour by service. Note: a manuscript page is defined as 250 words or one double-spaced page.

Proofreading occurs at the final stage of the production process. It involves reviewing the typeset pages for inconsistent spelling and typographic errors.
